I got curious about the math behind YPM's new 4 fill method of #100 sealed bottles and found that when you factor in the extra shipping cost on the 4th YPM shipment and compare the ALL-IN average cost per pill from NWW to YPM for a popular med (generic norco 10/325) over a full consult cycle, the average cost per pill for generic norco 10/325 4 per day (total cost / total pills received) is nearly identical at $1.44 per pill for both YPM/APAP and NWW/Medipharm.

So once I found the average cost per pill to be identical, I thought about a few other factors which favored YPM:
- You get those SEALED #100 count bottles which eliminates all shortage concerns.
- You get 40 MORE pills over a given consult cycle with YPM at the same average cost of $1.44. (YPM's 80 day 4 fill cycle gives you 400 pills vs. NWW's 75 day 3 fill cycle which gives you 360 pills).

Of course there are some other concerns beyond dollars and cents and # of pills. Specifically - YPM and its pharmacy are new, but they have STRONG management in place that should make people comfortable with them.

Bottom line: The average price per pill is the same between YPM and NWW for generic norco, you get 40 more pills in a consult with YPM, and you get sealed bottles with YPM. Once the feedback comes on how well YPM/ASAP operate and deliver, I think they could be a great alternative to NWW. Does anyone have any feedback on ordering from/dealing with YPM/APAP and their doctor?

ASSUMPTIONS:
Generic Norco 10/325
4 pills per day prescribed
Fed Ex Standard Overnight Shipping
No discount on upfront consult fee

YPM/ASAP
- 4 fills of #100 generic norco 10/325 **FACTORY SEALED** bottles at $92 per fill
- 25 day supply per each #100 count fill with the assumption of 4 pills per day, which can be refilled at day 20
- Upfront $120 consult fee
- $22 FedEx standard overnight (PM) fee

Doing the math, you get 4 shipments of #100 pills for a total of 400 pills in 80 days. You pay the following:

$120 consult
$368 400 pills ($92 * 4)
$88 Fed Ex standard overnight shipping ($22 * 4)
$576 Total Cost for an 80 day, 4 fill cycle

YPM AVERAGE COST PER PILL: $1.44 per pill ALL-IN avg. cost ($576 Total Cost / 400 pills)

NWW/Medipharm
- 3 fills of #120 generic norco 10/325 COUNTED by Medipharm at $110 per fill
- 30 day supply per each #120 count fill with the assumption of 4 pills per day, which can be refilled at day 25
- Upfront $120 consult fee
- $22 FedEx standard overnight (PM) fee

Doing the math, you get 3 shipments of #120 pills for a total of 360 pills in 75 days. You pay the following:

$120 consult
$330 360 pills ($110 * 3)
$66 Fed Ex standard overnight shipping ($22 * 3)
$516 Total Cost for a 75 day, 3 fill cycle

NWW AVERAGE COST PER PILL: $1.433 per pill ALL-IN avg. cost ($516 Total Cost / 360 pills)
