I have not been declined but then again I have 15 pages of records and test results. As long as you have recent records that verify your condition for which you are seeking treatment for and have been prescribed the medication for which you are seeking before you should not have a problem.
However I have heard of people being declined w/ various OP's and usually the question "why was I declined?" inevitably pops up. Who knows? The Dr. obviously makes the final decision just like your normal PCP does, so if you get declined which is pretty bad; usually if the Dr. does not feel comfortable they will recommend alternative medications or the like rather than just flat out refuse to treat you (though I have heard of that as well) If you are declined totally then the Dr. must have pretty good reason to suspect the patient and or saw inaccuracies with your records and your Consultation?? Or the Dr. saw that person was getting meds from other sources. I also have heard that some OP's also like to see more of a "history" of the records and not just someone going to the Dr. w/ a bad back (for example)and then seeking those records after the visit to turn around and send to the OP. In my case my records and tests go back for several years but include some recent activity as well.
Some are stricter than others, but for the most part if you truly need the medication and have the information required to prove it you likely should be able to. But I think some almost "expect" to get whatever medication you are seeking. This is not the case, don't be surprised if you are asking for 120ct and have records showing off and on pain or say Headaches (other than Migraine; I have those as well and they are severe!!) that you are denied and prescribed a smaller dosage or different med. For example I know that online-scripts is only prescribing a maximum of 60 Pain pills for those with headaches/migraines, and may be limited to a certain dosage as well I am not sure...
As far as Ephy....I think they are great, and the prices cannot be beat @ $45 per consult and medication prices are competitive as well. My last consult with them was great and the Dr. whom I spoke with was very caring and gave one of the longer consults and was very knowledgeable of my condition. I highly reccommend them.
Good luck!
