i'm so sorry this has happened to you. i wish i could offer words of wisdom, but everyone else has pretty much said what i would say. if i wasn't on the opposite side of the country and lived nearby i would do whatever i could to help. i can say that perhaps breathing exercises might help, taking a bath, trying to calm down and accept that there is nothing you can do tonight, w/d can really be tough, but i think the emotional side of things, freaking out just excaserbates (sorry for incrrect spelling)
the physical effects. i remember going through smething similar a few months back, but i wanted to detox and had benzos, which helped quite a bit. still, i lay in bed trying to concentrate on tv and hardly ate for a week. i lost a lt of weight and felt so dull, ugh, but those sypmtoms didnd't kick in for a few days as i tld you before. try to get your hands on whatever will help you sleep tonight, you may have weird dreams, but IMO sleeping is easier, when you can.
