you can ask your doctor about trazadone or vistaril...
trazadone is an anti-depressant that really helps with sleep and I do not believe it causes weight gain...if you are a female, you do not have to worry about priapism (painful, long-lasting erections) which is it's only dangerous side effect..
Vistaril is an antihistimine actually that also helps with insomnia and anxiety... it is supposed to be somewhat non-addicitive...
both worked for me, but now that I am on remeron, (we'll see for how long) I do not need either of these meds but still keep them around just in case...
I take low doses of Klonopin daily so it doesnt help with sleep like some other Benzos seem to for many members of this forum...
I'd look into those two I mentioned...good luck!!!
