I've been taking Zoloft for about 6 weeks and occasionally have very bad nightmares. . .grotesque, hideous, bizarre. . .to the point where I don't want to go back to sleep, even if the rest period has been insufficient. And the bad dreams set the tone of whole day -- not too good.
But I don't know if the antidepressant is the culprit. I imagine it could be side effects from any number of the other meds (mostly heart/cholesterol, plus the occasional Vicodin or Valium, and albuterol puff) that I consume. Maybe all of the above. Or I'm just a head-case. I don't know. But, yeah, the nightmares are giggly-ugly.
Sweet Dreams.
