I do see your point steve & like I said, I'm not trying to flame anyone. I do get a little defensive about NROP vs ROP because I do believe there IS a real need for them for some people who do have pain but it may not be deemed "chronic" in nature. Some women may have horrible periods & just want some relief for 2 days out of a month but unable to find a doctor or OP to help.
All I'm saying is that some people may not have records documenting a reoccurring / chronic problem, it doesn't make THEIR pain any LESS legitimate than mine or yours.
I must say, I can truly see the reason for your position on NROP based on the above & agree that you are probably right.
Steve, I am not trying to cause problems or be rude to you & I sincerely apologize if I came across that way to you, I just believe that everyone has a RIGHT to receive adequate pain medication when they want it & need it. Too many times I've suffered or watched my mother suffer because of an underprescribing doc.
Re: Records,
I guess I have records for the problems I mentioned. Like I said, I hurt my back years ago & any subsequent visit to the doctor was not treated as a follow up for that particular injury, just "oh well, my back hurts again!"....same with the broken tailbone.
