DrugBuyers.Com: Drug dealer selling from OP

From reading the article, I'm still not convinced the guy was getting medication to sell. He very well may have had a very high tolerance to the medication, and needed larger amounts than were prescribed.

He also may have been ordering from several OPs seeing how so many OPs we've all used have been raided or closed shop seemingly overnight. He very well could have been preparing for the inevitable shut down of all OPs (no-record or record). They will all be eventually shut down by the DEA sooner rather than later.

The DEA has not been able to catch real drug traffickers importing and selling illegal drugs. The DEA was appropriated $30 billion dollars to help with the war on drugs.

By targeting OPs, their doctors, pharmacists, regular pain management doctors, and their customers, it makes the DEA's arrest numbers go up. It is much easier and safer to bust some doctor for working for an OP. Then if they target and arrest the customers, their arrest numbers will really shoot up.

My husband, who has never had a complaint or judgement against him on his medical license, had his medical license temporarily suspended when 13 DEA agents converged on our house with guns drawn. They searched our home for three hours, cofiscated my husband's computers, and scared our children to death. They had a search warrant with an order that temporarily suspended my husband's medical and DEA licenses effective immediately. He is a target of a federal investigation. No charges have been filed yet - this raid happened May 19, 2004. We consulted two healthcare attorneys before he got involved with the OPs who both told us they were legal. The DEA told my husband that everyone knows that there are no legal OPs, unless there is a face-to-face doctor patient relationship.

I wouldn't be so quick to point fingers at this person until we know more of the facts.

Needless to say, I think the DEA is using horrendous, underhanded tactics.
