I always had it in my head that meds are like twice as effective on an empty stomach. I do understand the reason for tolerance is a process called enzyme enduction, when the liver creates more and more enzymes to break down the medicine......so much so that you need to increase the dose for the same amount of meds to be effective as when you first began taking the meds. Basically your body has learned how to destroy that foreign object (meds) you put in your body.
I did an experiment and had a full meal and about 15 minutes later, I took my medicine(hyrdo 10/325) and I can honestly say I really noticed a positive difference!
My theory is not only does my liver have to digest the meds but now also a full meal. All I can say is try it yourself and report back.
