I know very well about the memory loss, mine is caused from a stroke I had in '93 during surgery. It is Horrible to be talking to someone and they say, "We just talke about this". it is soo embarrasing. I finally had to tell my husband It wasn't my fault that I couldn't remember things, and to stop embarassing me in front of people. I can watch a show one day and 2 0r 3 days later, it is a new show to me. Same with conversations. Don't wory about it. Your brain will retrain itself to take over the memory part, but I'm afraid what you have lost, is gone. It is in My case anyway. What you said about your spinal surgeries and the lining around the spine...I have the same problem. My neurosurgeon said I was born without that lining, and that is why my discs keep going out. I have had 11 spinal surgeries clear from my neck to my buttt none of them were any good. What is the strong opioid you are taking? You can say it on here. Maybe I can suggest something. I have found one that helps me. See ya
