I think it all depends on the medication itself and the generic company that makes it. All generic companies are not made equal.

I noticed that my Albuterol didn't work anymore when I started to get generic. At first I didn't even think that the medicine could be it, I thought my asthma had gotten worse. My doctor told me to get the brand name when I went to the pharmacy, and if that didn't help, then he would change the medication. Well I saw a huge difference in the effectiveness between the generic and the brand. I do not care that the generic is $10 and the brand is $35. I can either pay $10 for water or $35 for medicine.
