A lawyer friend of mine just recorded a TV commercial urging Vioxx users to call him so he can "help them". He told me that he also has a Celebrex version of the commercial in the can just in case. Then again, I've been seeing Celebrex commercials all weekend on my basic cable system. Big drug companies can be scum, but I have a hard time believing that even they would continue to air commercials if a recall was immenent. I mean, talk about a self inflicted black eye. IMO, the Celebrex folks probably feel safe for the time being.
