I live way out of town so I really dd not want to do WU in person. But, I have a sucess story.
--I was really scared of using WU (for the first time) with IM4U and got some not-quite-correct-info on the process.(I don't think it was intentional though).
--SquirrelGirl helped me a lot. Here is MY personal first-time WU ONLINE WITH CC EXPERIENCE: (it was MC)
No Problems. At all. I filled out all the info they ask for. I used the name of the sender (also city and country) that Raj(or whoever he is at IM4U) gave me when I first emailed him and told him I was going to order WU/MG. I entered the straight money amount in the space provided. When I tried to complete the transaction, I got a (scary) page saying that they neede "more information" from me and that I had to call this phone number to complete the transaction. I called , the human who answered asked a couple of identity questions and asked me to wait while they "verified my information". (I presume that means they were checking to be sure the cc wasn't stolen and that, oh maybe, the phone numbers matched the one I was calling from). In about 20 or 30 seconds she came back and said that the money was "ready to be picked up right now". That's all there was to it. I'd do it again, but only if the OP offers discount in meds for the cost, as IM4U does.
I can't believe I was so leery of this. No biggie at all. I guess I'm just an inveterate scuttle-bug.
As I understand it, when you do other orders on WU, you have to call them to confirm that it is actually you before they release the money.
IM4U has been very patient with me in emails. Very pleasant to deal with. His 25% discount in meds actually lowers his already not-too-bad price (on what I ordered) to the same as P24's price was. And, no registered mail.
I'll post in this forum when I receive because IM4U has no spot in the regular Feedback Forum. I voted for it to have a spot. I understand why DB banned him and I trust them because they know a lot more than I do. But a lot of people are using him now and we're all going to litter up the Discussions forum with Feedback posts. Perhaps it was a cultural thing and IM4U has now learned its lesson (as Zippy said).
