As a matter of fact, it appears that it may have been fixed as I got an email from Fed-Ex that had the usual with a new tracking number. Good thing is this package is actually in FEDEX hands now!! I assumed the worst when it was going on 9:00PM and still no email with tracking considering the troubles, but it actually came 15 minutes later and was picked up from what I can tell later than usual which explains the delay in getting it into the Fed-Ex system as I beleive these emails are automatically generated by FED-EX.
(I thought that when Fed-Ex sends you the "So and so has sent John Doe 1 Standard overnight package from 'whomever' and is scheduled to be shipped 'whenever' you may track the status of your package yata yata yata" that its done and on its way.. Apparently not!
Anyhow IMO that still does not make up for two large screw ups 1)They had a needed medication (requested for refill after 27 days rather than the 25 BTW) that they generated Shipping info for then never sent it, then never realized after 5 days that the package was never even tendered to Fed-Ex. (They should have some way of keeping track of this stuff) 2) I called this morning and was basically lied to giving me the identicsl tracking no. and infering that maybe I typed the wrong one in, because he all but guaranteed IT WAS SHIPPED. Also told him that regardless if this package is not tracking properly for whatever reason this was sent "Overnight" "If it was indeed shipped, why havent I gotten it after this long?? I think he didn't know what happened and just said whatever to get off the phone with me. It also upset me that after all we are dealing with much needed medication here that is nowwell past due consequently I am practicaly die'n here (a pharmacist of all people should be aware and at least be somewhat symphatetic) Not even 'I am sorry', or 'I will do what I can'....Just assumed I am wrong and they are right, when I clearly had the proof! I assume after that call this morning they did at least realize that indeed was never shipped as when I called back as I mnetioned in my last post, a different gentlemen, whom BTW sounded as if he may have taken something himself for uh..."Quality Assurance Testing" (I have no right to say this he just sounded out of it) But he did state that it was being shipped today. For obvious reasons I doubted him, but they actually did come through tis time so they at least made it right. I think I will switch back to Woody's If I continue.
BTW: Kathy if you are not receiving your PM's just wanted you to know that I posted shortly after the first one mentioning that it appeared as taken of.
Sorry for the long rant, this deal had me all worked up and even rambling more than I normally do!!
