Oh and I'd like to add that I find it hard to believe that I will be taxed higher than 50%. Maybe in some countries it might be a smidgen higher, but 50% is a huge tax burden on me and no, I don't get a huge check from the Feds or State come April 15th. about 75% of my salary comes from OT and I work loads of overtime and the way our system is set up, OT and DT gets taxed around 50%. I'm not getting any better services than the next guy and the next guy usually pays 33% or less.


As I've mentioned before I would love to leave this country, however it's alot easier said than done unfortunately. Canada is possibly the easiest for US citizens to move to and even then it's not just a matter of pakcing up and moving over the border and getting a job.

They have a nifty little questionairre on their website where you answer all these questions and it rates you with a number to determine the liklihood of being able to move to their country and eventually get citizenship - unfrotuantely, I came in like 1 or 2 points under their recommended points.
