Amazing as it seems to me, I've known plenty of people who can't tolerate any opiod, even a T2. They get dizzy and feel sick & nauseous (and if they're real nice, give me their pills

I'm guessing that the original poster is taking Hydro for the FIRST time, and is not used to any opioid; in which case 10mg is possibly a high dose.

He should try taking 1/2 pill, after all, most Drs initially prescribe no more that 5mg for even some post-op pain.

Also, if one needs all sorts of work-arounds to tolerate any medication; maybe they should try something else. Don't remember if his medical condition was mentioned....
