I think NYCAT may have misinterpreted what stardog was saying.

There are people out there, stardog happened to call them "Average Joe". It was a reference name for all those "solid citizens" who abhor those who use drugs for other than debilitating pain and those who do use it for pain, well heaven forbid they should feel good while not in pain!!! and that moniker was also for those who believe that if you take any meds that come through "alternate" means (i.e. on-line sites and doctors) and they just happen to also give you a buzz while taking care of your problem.. then there is something wrong and you must be an addict and less a "good citizen".

Regarding the part about saying the meds are needed for pain and not just a buzz... twinkletoes obviously assumed we all here know what she meant, but to someone monitoring.. it might look like "buzz" was the only intent. The admonishment (I assume) was just a reminder to all that if the board is misinterpreted by an outsider that it could be shut down and/or the poster banned.

We are all on the same page here... I don't think anyone means any disrespect.
