You need to go get some Coenzyme Q10. This is amazing stuff for gum disease. I had bleeding and painful gums and heard about Coenzyme Q10. Within a month of taking it (and I don't normally believe in supplements, I don't even take a daily vitamin), my gums no longer bled and were healthy and pink again! Do some online searches and you will see that this stuff is like a miracle drug for people with unhealthy gums! I take 250mg daily. It is an expensive supplement (I usually buy it at Sam's Club, 120 50mg caps for $15), but you can watch for it to be on sale at one of the drug chains like Riteaid or CVS. They have buy one get one free sales at times and then I stock up. But if you can't find it on sale, I think the cheapest place is Sam's Club.
