True. I had a PCP that gave me a limited amount of meds for migraines a few years ago. I had to call the after hours a few times a month because I threw up all my meds. Well, after a few months, she got a letter from the insurance company telling her I had been getting scripts from multiple doctors. I told her about the calls and that I assumed the doctors told her. She upped my dosage and I gladly signed a contract. I still had the option to go to the ER if I got in over my head with a migraine, which often happened to me at the time. I'm getting more control now though, (yay)
