My meds are ALWAYS hidden...at home and on vacation.
On vacation, I put my meds in a Hello Kitty pill case that doesn't look like a pill case. I never leave the majority of my meds alone in a hotel room. I will use clean, rolled up socks, makeup boxes (my favorite), i have some travel make up brush sets that are the perfect size...there are just so many places that will work on vacation!
At home, I hide my meds from family especially (!). Nobody knows I use OPs and that's fine with me! But I must be creative when taking medicine. My dh thinks I use a lot of vitamins and alternative health substances. I like to keep my meds within reach so it doesn't take me 15 minutes just to get my meds and hid again. I generally switch my meds into different bottles. I keep a routine in my mind so I know what is where. I also like to put script bottles in my box of Omega-3 fatty acids...no one like it and no one opens that box!! I have a teapot for decoration on my piano which is spacious for my bottles. Boxes for make up or hair products are good. Off the show "Cops" I got a great idea! Using empty Chapstick, Burts Bees lip stuff, any kind of lip-ointment container is a great size and place to hide it.
