I agree with you, Silverdust. It's always about money.
As far as outsourcing of jobs, I'm a medical transcriptionist and that's a big problem in my field. There was a lot of flack not too long ago about a transcriptionist (I forget from which country, but I'm thinking somewhere near Afghanistan) who threatened to make patient medical notes public. Makes me wonder just what kind of OTHER information is crossing our borders that might be sensitive and used against us by someone not so friendly.
(I've also wondered about some international OPs and their ability to actually poison American customers if they so desired, but I'm probably either paranoid or should use my imagination to write a mystery novel! LOL)
But I totally agree: The drug lobbyists in Washington trump, not consumers like us.
