They work great on tension headaches, and do a decent job on my migraines too. Bad news is, they contain caffiene. Fioricet is Butalbital/APAP/Caffiene, so you can often get it cheaper by ordering generic 'butalbial'which is also the same combo. There IS another med out there that has the butalbital and APAP but no caffiene, but for the life of me I can't find it's name or a link to where I found it. I, too, hate the caffiene so I would like to try this non-caffinated version sometime.
If I come across the drug name or a link i'll post..

ETA - if my google skills are worth anything, I think the butalbital + APAP combo is named Phrenilin . Good luck!
