Let's see. I had knee surgery in mid December, and was taking 5-8 VP tabs per day for about 3-4 weeks following that. I would get heartburn/reflux. About the second week of Jan I was having regular stomach pain. I went to the doctor and was tested for bacterial infection and none was found. They did find elevated LFT's at that point, so I stopped the VP for about 2-3 weeks and was retested and my elevated LFT was down to acceptable levels. I never went back to Vicoprofen. I could have had a viral thing, but I suspect that prolonged usage of ibuprofen was causing the heartburn. NSAIDs are a known cause of stomache lining irritation. I'm not a doctor, but I think there was some cause and effect there.
It's pretty good stuff overall, so maybe it was just me.
