How do you think that the DEA found out about this guy? Obviously, he was double dipping in a bad way, but do you think the no record OPs caught on and reported him? Or do you think the neighbors that he was sending drugs to reported this? I'd guess that UPS got suspicious when he flagged them down and was paying for orders under all different names with money orders! That is kind of suspicious behavior, especially if the guy has a shady reputation.
I personally don't double dip, but I don't take very many hydros. My tolerance is low, so most of the time I can get by with breaking one of them in half and taking the half with one or two ibuprofen tablets. My Records Required OP prescribes up to 120 a month, so that is more than enough for me. But I read that some people are ordering from all of the no records OPs in a very short time. And most of them will only prescribe 60 a month, so I'm sure that some do have to order from more than one, especially if their tolerance is high and they need much more than 60 hydros a month. If someone has no records, then they'd pretty much have to double dip to get the right amount of medicine, I suppose. Yikes, and the expense of those no records OPs is incredible!
I personally wouldn't have talked to anyone without a lawyer present. But you have really good instincts to have refused that package! This is a very interesting story, I'm wondering what the outcome will be! This guy had some major nerve!
