My dad was a criminal defense attorney for 28 years and I just hit 15 yrs of LE. I agree 110% cooperate, but not without an attorney. If you tell a cop "I want to cooperate 100%, I would just like to get an attorney here first" most of the LE I know will respect you for it. If they try to talk you out of it BEWARE!!! That is the time to say I want an attorney present before we talk any further.
