Hmm... You mentioned Xanax and Lexapro. I've worked with two PCP docs locally, over the years, and neither would prescribe a benzo (Xanax, Ativan, etc..) with an SSRI simultaneously - since SSRI's are usually used to treat depression (from what they've told me). That's interesting, although, my older PCP stated that the newer SSRI's are supposed to subdue or eliminate panic disorder coded (in my case) DSM IV 300.01..ie Paxil. They never helped for some reason though. Thanks for the info.
