Well, its been over a month since the members original post with no follow up's so it raises some questions to me .
She could have been ordering large quantities of meds. She could have made up the story. Who knows? I wish she would provide further details.
But I will say this. The government may very well want to close all these IOPs but they have no jurisdiction over them what so ever.
Any company that operates outside of the U.S. operates outside of U.S. laws and regulation so there really isnt a darn thing they can do other then attempt to seize packages.
Related to that, there are way too many packages flowing through customs every day to worry about small quantities of meds. They simply dont have the manpower. Especially with terrorism concerns there are a lot more important things they are looking for.
In the case of seizures, the burden is on the shipper not the person who it is being shipped to. Unless you pursue what has been seized, a large investigation would have to be conducted to prove that what is being sent to and it was actually ordered by you. They would have to obtain a pattern of actions to make the case worth while. Show you have a lot in your possession. Obtaining search warrants requires a court order, etc., etc. None of which is worth it unless your getting really large quantities of controlled substances on a regular basis.
Yes, there are the rare DEA visits and warnings but I have never heard of anyone actually being busted unless again, they were ordering large quantities clearly not for personal use. They are after the big buys in this.
But anyone doing that should be well aware of the risks anyway. It verges on drug trafficking.
