Re: Superior Pharmacy in FL raided by DEA

I was driviving home one nignt late last winter. My radio was on, but I was not really listening. I herd a talk show host ask his audience if it bothered them that people could buy prescription meds online with just a credit card.He then explained he had bought some vicodin online. He did not seem judgemental and explained the process in detail. The one thing that got me was he gave no medical reason on his order form why he needed the meds. He told them " I just want them" they still came. Then he asked if this bothered people. He wanted people to call in and say if they were for or against this. After about 20 minutes no one called. He then asked if there was anyone who used ops, and would call to tell why they use them. No one called in the 45 minutes I listened. The host chuckeled and said "wow I guess I picked a bad topic" The show was the kind where people call in and ask or talk about consumer affairs. It was not political or a shout fest. There were a lot of calls while I listened on various subjects. As I only listened for less than an hour I can not speek for the rest of the show.
Then a short time later I was watching Imus in the morning. That is a radio show simulcast on MSNBC every mourning. This guy named Bo Diedel used to appear on this show once in a while. He is very different. One mourning he started ranting about buying drugs on the internet. Imus cut him off quickly and said "this country has real problems with crime get out of here". That was the end of Bo's time that day.
My point is I don't think this op thing interests a lot of the general population. I have seen some of the sound bites from Dan Rather and such. And I think it is just easy work for newspaper reporters. Political types can make it sound like they are saving us from an evil problem. But maybe if it does not catch fire with the people, the ones that take care of us Ha Ha, will move on to something that sticks. Just my obesrvation.
