The reaction to Wellbutrin must depend on one's body chemistry.
Wellbutrin and I didn't get along very well, at all. I thought I was going to jump out of my skin and experienced seizure-like activity. Couldn't even "ramp-up" to the higher level recommended for quitting smoking. My husband, on the other hand, took the same amount that I did, even increased it, and felt few side-effects.

While clinical addiction may not be a problem with SSRIs, getting off them after years of use requires a long-term taper similar to opiates. - This is another life's lesson which I learned the hard way.
Having finally backed-off Prozac, I'm now on Paxil and heard that it can take a while to disperse Paxil from the brain, as well.
It will be interesting to discover what impact "fine-tuning" our brains with anti-depressants will have on us as we age.
