I have known Wellbutrin has been prescribed to help people quit smoking, but not too long ago a friend of mine said she went to the doctor for help with her weight problem and she said he prescribed her a diet aid, when I asked her what it was she said Wellbutrin. I had never heard of it being an aid to weight loss just smoking and as an anitdepressant. I was wondering if her doctor thought she was depressed and overeating due to that, has anyone else ever heard anything like that? She has by the way lost a little weight(not much) but says she cant sleep well anymore.
