I would not have known you had a "teeth pain" question by the subject line. As a matter of "personal courtesy" by all DB'ers, I (we) will not change the subject line, but if you want more replies you may want to do so.

My suggestion for molar pain is: Vicoprofen (generic Teva's are great). Yes, I get migraines from tooth pain as well. Trust me-I hear you. Zomig Nasal spray works great.

I have had many root canals, bridges, extractions, apico's...etc. The NSAID's (ibuprofen, Aleve) work GREAT to get that swelling down that is pushing on your nerves.

If they don't give you Vicoprofen, go with the hydro/oxycodone that they do give you and DO add 600-800 mgs to your dose of the pain pills.

The Tylenol in the other meds (Lortab, Vicodin, Endodan) etc... will not counteract each other yet work together.

Be sure not to exceed 4000 mg of Tylenol (APAP) daily. I don't know what the cap is for NSAID's, but you can and should take 800 mg doses. It helps IMMENSLY - especially after extraction because you'll be swollen like a mother.

Good luck and don't procrastinate. Every day that goes by the worse off you will be. Get those molars checked out ASAP! Sure extraction is easy and cheap....BUT...all your teeth will shift.....I could go on. Don't worry though, ALL dentists will try and tell you to get a root canal and a Best if kept off the board before extraction. Why? The money is not in extraction. It is in the $1500 root canal and Best if kept off the board you'll get.

Oh- about the Xanax, most OP's in the USA will dispense Geneva generics. They are good. IOP's are a Best if kept off the board shoot. There are 100's of them out there and you will have to do the legwork on that. My advise is to stay domestic!
