No. I believe that Torodol(sp) is an NSAID, really powerful. They use it sometimes after surgery in conjunction with the stronger narcotic medications. My Uncle is a surgeon and he says it helps to potentiate the strong meds. My sister in law just had back surgery to repair a disc and they kept trying post op to find something that worked to contain her pain, and when they tried the Toradol, she said it helped out a lot. Really tough on your liver and stomach, I believe, so if you get a script for it is only supposed to be for a short amount of time. Then you take a break and can use it again. This info is by no means anything scientific, just info I have picked up along the way, so ask a doctor about it if you want to try. It should not be hard to get a script for it from a local doctor. My uncle actually gave me a script for that and percocet awhile back. He's from a different state than me, so when I tried to fill it in my state, pharmacist said no, on the Percocet. They said they would have to special order the Toradol, and it would take a few days to get it in. I never pursued it because I got it to see a PM doc a week or two later.
