Thought I might ask a question in here and see if anyone could elaborate on this one please. I am really confused when it comes to benzos and the 10 panel urineanalysis test. I have a prescription for Xanax and realize it will come up positive for any U.A. within a certain amount of time. However, I recently took a Valium when my script was almost out. About a week later, I had a drug test. The results came back positive for benzos but the tester said, "Yeah, it was positive for benzos - Valium."
I wonder why Xanax wasn't mentioned? That's my therapeuticly scheduled medication. I only took one 10 mg Valium about week before this test and Xanax daily 1 mg - even a day before the test. Anyone know why they singled out Valium? I thought that wasn't possible with the 10-panel U.A. and everything such as Ativan, Valium, Xanax, etc.. was combined into the benzos group.
I showed them my script for Xanax, they wrote it down, but now I'm worried that this U.A. could have detrimental effects since I don't currently have a script for Valium.
