The truth is in the taste with Prenisone, that is for sure!! Nothing , I mean nothing has that "distinctive" taste and aftertaste.

Also, if you forget to take a little (rather ALOT) of food with it, you'd be better off dead - the stomach ache is horrendous .

And our FAVORITE side effect is the insomnia, of course.

Yep, I always seem to get myself in trouble by not going to the doctor soon enough, so I usually have to start out on a horrendously high dose and then taper every day from there.

Can you believe a pharmacist once told me that he had become addicted to Prednisone?!! :( He said he just loved the "energy" it gave him.) For Pete's sake, can you imagine a more DANGEROUS drug to become addicted to?!!

What I thought was REALLY weird was reading how Jerry Lewis went into REHAB to get off the prednisone. Now THAT was the wierdest thing I've EVER read. (but then again, I did read it in The Enquirer, so consider the source) But, really, rehab for prednisone???? I don't get it, do you?
