Epidurals do help many people. If you have insurance or can afford the procedure, I think it is worth trying.
It is a treatment that most doctors will want to try, so might as well get it over with. Hopefully the epidural(s) will give you lasting relief.
And if it is effective you will may need less or possibly no medication, saving yourself money and the tolerance issues that eventually pop up with long term opioid treatment.
