The joint pain in my deteriorating hip is greatly reduced since going on a low carb way of eating.
I suspect this has more to do with the 55 pound weight loss than a direct pain-reduction correlation; however I have seen other AMAZING positive side effects as a result of low-carbing; everything from dry skin clearing up, clearer thinking, no afternoon energy loss, to improved libido and sexual stamina.
I know many people who aren't following a low carb diet are SICK of us gushing, but it is amazing how decadent it is, to eat like this and lose weight in the process.
Think I'll head over to Subway and get a Chipotle Southwest Steak & Cheese made into a low-carb wrap...or maybe just as a salad.
