I take Vioxx from time to time, when I am feeling especially stiff, my neck is hurting, in essence when my arthritis is acting up more than usual and I find it works very well. I take it at bedtime, I was told by the doc this is the best time, and the next day I find myself much more limber. As far as out an out pain though, I still need hydro.It is supposed to be extremely harsh on your stomach though so I do not take it regularly, my elderly father had a very bad stomach reaction from it.
