I also buy/sell on ebay & got something last week that said to verify my account or they would suspend me. I ignored it. I have been at ebay since 1999. I never have gotten any stuff like that it just seems like its been happening in the past couple months as that was like the 3rd one I had gotten.
The scary thing like you said is it looks in fact like it came from ebay. I forwarded one of them I had gotten to ebay & got an email back saying in fact it wasnt from them, so forward them on so they can track & catch them.
Good thing you didnt log in & fall for the scam
