In the "everybody is different" department, I found that all percocet accomplished for me was severe nausea. Actually, it kinda took the form of a really old joke. The doctor asked me if the percocet alleviated the pain, and I told him that with the nausea it caused I never even noticed the pain. Think that's not funny now? It certainly wasn't funny then. They made me so sick that I flushed them. Big mistake. The doctor wouldn't give me a script for another pain med unless I returned the unused pills! Luck for me it was only a two week supply. In the long run, Lortab has worked much better. Why percocet is considered schedule II is beyond me.
