I'm doing OK but could do a lot better. I've gone from about two packs a day to 2 to 5 individual cigarettes a day. Still very ill-advised, even insane, as I had a fairly serious heart attack and the ensuing angioplasties about a month ago. Not only that, I was diagnosed as being in the early stages of emphysema. So, I've slowed way down, but I still want the bastards and still have them occasionally. That I have any at all under the circumstances illustrates the incredible power of these hellish, insidious things. The oxygen tank WILL be in my future if I continue to consume even just a few cigs a day. My cardio-pulmonary test guy told me that this wasn't a lecture, it was a promise. Best if kept off the board. Good luck, people, and wish me the same.
