For what's it's worth I believe you. This is not the first time I have heard this story. It is rare but then again how many people that this happens to want to talk about it. It would be very easy for Customs to track parcels by a senders name that is flagged. The system is already in place. There have been many new initiatives by the joint task force created by the FDA to anaylyze and part of any analysis is information or tracking. To law enforcement 1 pill obtained illegally is to much if you happen to be targeted. 600 is not a large number of pills over a years time however it can be made to sound like a big deal and many in the unknowing public that do not have chronic or acute conditions could actually believe you could be a dealer. I didn't see where you posted the actual charges but my guess is that they cited you with obtaining scheduled medications without a valid prescription, used the US mail to do so and the codeine that comes from most OP's is a schedule II narcotic. It may seem like a waste of time to many but LE can and do from time to time get a hair up their axx and make examples. I could get all the applicable laws you violated and post them but I would just be accused of filling the whole page with one thread. Fact it is 100 percent illegal to order scheduled medications from IOP's and even if you had an import license which you could never qualify, it would be illegal under that law to use the US mail. I'm with you and don't think your here to start trouble just telling your story. As for the doubters they will always want to believe that it never happens. I will agree it doesn't happen often but it can and does happen. I know of 3 confirmed cases from people that were on this board that sent me links or e-mail with the actual arrest information. Don't ask me to post who they are because it's not going to happen I respect their right to privacy and anonymitty. Take care. Billylll
