I honestly believe that you got it wrong; the lawyers don't care if you take oxy's or not, and they don't want to make it harder to get; they just want to get some of the big money available if they win a case against a big drug company. The biggest cases were the tobacco lawsuits which were settled for billions (that's with a B) of dollars; BTW, I'm not a lawyer; and also, I hate all the negative publicity about oxycontin on TV; taken as directed, it's a wonder drug that has fewer side effects than say morphine, etc. JMHO.
