Here's my take on this whole thing..if you like it or not. hehe..

I agree in some respects that pain killers have been and will continue to be an abused drug..I also think that OP's should all go with port-a-medic visits, medical records, phone consults and 3 months blood and urine tests to make sure liver function is ok and the patient isn't abusing other substances while on opiate therapy or other benzo type meds. If all these requirements come into place with OP's, then we can be reassured that they might have at least another few years instead of a few months..

It does take a bit more time for the patient, but in the long run, the Doctor could perscribe what is needed for a patient, without the risk of them Double Dipping or breaking their controlled substance aggrement. Some patients need follow-up care and I think it would be wise for OP doctors to stop for a minute and really try to help their customers, instead of trying to take $$$. This is the main problem with OP's and the reason they will eventually go down in the end. They don't really have enough doctor-patient relationships and leave too much of a gap for abuse. I love OP's and I hope they stick around, but the OP and the doctor that works for them, need to re-format their operations and now!.

So...with that being said.. once this takes place, there won't be these kinds of stories in the media, because a more controlled envoronment will be set in motion.
