I also quit drinking when I started using Hydro. I'm amazed that I don't crave it, but I'm very happy that I don't have that particular monkey on my back.
As far as the Paxil--there was a thread a while back on this issue. When I took Paxil a few years ago, I actually felt compelled to drink--it was compulsive. My best friend, who was always a very light drinker, started Paxil, and within a few weeks was doing 6 or 7 tequila shots a night. Again, it was compulsive. I have heard that the manufacturers have now listed "alcoholism" as a side effect.
