I watched this sensationalistic piece of garbage. It's absolutely sickening that it is deemed appropriate by the powers-that-be, the pharmacists, the ever so corrupt FDA, and legislators that we cannot decide for ourselves when we are in pain.

I agree with the poster who said that "I can get something I need without begging my dr for it". What's more, in a lot of cases you can beg all you want, and still be ignored, called a drugseeker, and left suffering.

It is for our own protection that these bastards want to make it impossible for us to obtain medications that doctors dangle in front of us like a carrot.

I heard this so-called doctor in the interview talk about how inappropriate it is for people to prescribe or buy their own drugs. Oh really, and why the hell would that be? Freedom? What a bloody fallacy that is. Do we live and die by the government's decisions?

Controlled substances...it's enough to make me vomit, the notion that any one person or organization CONTROLS what I buy with MY money and put in MY body. It's chemicals, and someone I don't know decides what I get to do with my life?
Any independent thinking person, anyone with a will of their own should be fundamentally against this kind of regulation.

Another thing. They wrap the paranoia in some fear that what you might be getting is some sort of rip-off, not the real Vicodin ES in this case. What bullshit. No other country in the world even makes, or KNOWS Vicodin. It's a US drug. Hell of a lot of effort to fake those. It'd be easier to make fake capsules with generic Hydro.

My point is that reporters, legislators and enforcers are disingenuous. They give us the appearance that they are worried for our safety, and that is the reason they don't want you or I to have Vicodin. Think... Is that really the reason? They don't give a flying Best if kept off the board, honestly. As long as there's been governments and religious groups trying to screw us out of chemicals, public safety has NOT been the reason. Yes, those joints are really dangerous too..
