I'm not sure about the port-a-medic being the savior for OPs. My example: Prescriptionconsultation.com. They required records AND a port-a-medic visit, yet they are now closed down. I do suspect if/when they come back, they will have a set up for phone consultation with the doctor. That's the only difference I can see between them and other OPs that require records and port-a-medic yearly.
I DO know for a fact though, that PC.com had just recently switched doctors. Dr. M wasn't going to do it any more and Dr. S was now doing it. According to what I heard, Dr. S was more conservative than Dr. M.
I think it's all a wait and see type thing to see which, if any of the closed OPs come back.
