I am so sorry that you have to go through this!! I know exactly where you are coming from as I have had CDM(Chronic Daily Migraines) for about 8 1/2yrs now and they are something I would never wish on anyone!! I am allergic to all of the "triptin" meds like Imitrex and I have seen numerous neurologists and we have found nothing but pain meds to help my migraines. It stinks though because doctors DO NOT like to treat migraines or headaches with narcotic pain meds due to rebound headaches(which I do not believe in!!) so I usually get stuck between a rock and a hard place!! But if mine get to bad I go to the hospital and they "usually" will give me my shot of 2mg Dilaudid 75mg Vistoril which is the only thing that has helped me for the past 4yrs when the migraine gets out of control. I took Stadol NS and also had the injections for the first 4yrs of my migraines but I found it would just make it better for a little while and after the meds wore off it came back just as bad if not worse!! So that is why I switched to the dilaudid for bad ones! I find that if I get the shot and then come home and sleep the next morning it is much much better!!
