Hello Pam,
I'm sorry to tell you the obvoius but you MUST go to the doctor or ER. It could be any number of things or nothing of concern. Bell's Palsy is caused by a virus and usually lasts about 2 weeks with treatment, different with each patient.TIA or "Transient Ischemic Attacks" are like tiny strokes that cause numbness in limbs and facial muscles and some patients report temporary loss of vision in one or both eyes.TIA's usually last only about an hour but some last much longer. The bottom line is that when you are experiencing ANY symptoms that are "strokelike" then you should report this to a physician stat.If you do not have a physician available then you should go to the ER immediately. Most Hospitals will provide treatment and allow you to pay through a payment schedule if you are not insured. Don't risk your health due to lack of insurance. It is always better when you are safe rather than sorry. Please don't panic. Like I said, it might be nothing, but you need to know asap.I am NOT a doctor and these are only opinions. We know what they say about opinions, right?!!!
