This must be what the original poster is experiencing -- I can't imagine how else meds could be packaged without an exp date.
I do pay attention to exp dates -- although meds can retain most of their potency beyond the exp date if they are stored properly, negative effects are also possible. A few months ago I got a supply of tramadol from Masters Marketing that was nearly expired, and they were absolutely worthless. Not only did the caps have no effectiveness, they caused me to feel terrible, and very strangely, I got stomach pain, and pain in my kidneys from them. I had another supply at the time that I had received from HCP, and I carefully compared the two by switching back and forth, and I was not imagining the difference -- I ended up discarding the MM supply, something I would absolutely never do without being absolutely sure that the problem was real. I can only conclude that the problem with that supply was related in some way to the age of the meds, although it is possible that the quality of the manufacturer was simply inferior to begin with -- I can't remember the mfr name -- they were solid white 10 count blister packs.
