March on Washington for CP Sufferers
      10/27/03 07:47 PM

Redhill was good enough to provide a link for an event this coming April that we should all think about attending. Look in the Fox News link. There have been a lot of posts lately about the need for chronic pain sufferers to be heard, and more importantly, to be taken seriously. I've dashed off e-mails to everyone I can think of (senators, the DOJ, major newspapers, TV news sources, etc.) Someone suggested approaching the AARP. That's such a great idea. Even if you do it anonymously, please think about stating your case wherever you can. There are certainly some Republicans out there--you've got every right to your preference--but we've GOT to get Ashcroft out. He's clearly a sadist. I was amazed when elderly and ill people were busted for using medicinal marijuana here in California (ya know, we did vote on that. Guess it didn't count). I am thunderstruck that pain sufferers are now considered criminals. How about busting some crack dealers? Why torture the already tortured? Okay, rant over. Check out the March on Washington link, though. And tell all your friends!
