Hmmm... Norco *is* hydrocodone/apap- so, I guess as for which is better, they're the same Norco is the brand name of the medication. As for Brand name vs. generic- from all I've read Norco is made by Watson (the company) and so is the generic version- so the only difference is the label, if you will. Hope this helps
